Post Murbarak Egypt: Healing A Fractured Nation

New reports are coming in about the unfortunate situation the citizens of Egypt currently find themselves in. It appears they have been purposely - and seemingly vindictively - left to fend for themselves against criminal elements. Much of the thugs, reports appear to show, are merely creations of the disreputable regime that held the nation captive for nearly thirty years.

Police forces in Egypt, shown to have been corrupt and brutal for decades, have been largely pulled from the streets. Unfortunately, much like America and other countries, Egypt was long ago turned into a society that requires a police force that is both capable and readily available, and it is not the protesters' fault that they are corrupt or largely necessary in the first place. It is the Mubarak Regime, which appears to be employing yet another tactic of oppression, albeit from a distant location. Just one more reason for his reign to have ended quickly.

It is likely that Egypt would be facing a much worse fate had the regime been able to mollify the people.

Had the people not forced him out, Hosni Mubarak, who is also reported to have absconded with between $4 and $10 billion of the nation's liquid assets, may have found some way to creep back into a position of supreme authority.

Now the Egyptian people have been left a nation that is partly in shambles and chaos because the leaders were little more than schoolyard bullies who are likely laughing at this very moment over the results of their moronic pranks. So let them laugh, they will soon be held accountable.

This is a time for tentative, yet decisive, action. A conversation must begin that can set the wheels in motion which will promote a second uprising in Egypt, one that is designed to put the nation back together, and secure the future for this fledgling, democratically-elected constitutional republic.

First of all, the fact that the American government claims that Egypt is one of this nation's most important allies in the Middle East, places the country in a rather complimentary state of affairs since any investment in this nation could only be expected to generate significant returns, and protracted derivatives.

While the Egyptian economy may not possess enough moral hazard to satisfy the palate of the sharks on Wall Street, copious amounts of extremely stable industry are more than edible commodities for those who typically seek the leasing of low hanging fruit.

Given the fact that Egypt's people have been conditioned to exist in rather harsh realms, and still produce in an equitable fashion both highly educated techies, and sturdy laborers who appear more than capable of structuring their lives to meet long term goals, the prognosis of the nation is clearly that which will make a full recovery.

It would be rather unwise, actually, for America to just sit idle and let such a ground floor opportunity, for both investment and involvement, run amok when there are so many opportunities for collaborative finance and industry.

Egypt has long enjoyed a thriving tourist trade, and there is every reason to believe that this industry will at least double over the next 5 to 10 years under the newly conceivable democratic system.

Furthermore, the new opportunities that can be advanced by a fresh group of political attaches who should be trained to staff newly envisioned American consulates, promoting what would become a veritable bridge to social reforms that would be clearly discernible from the former that existed under Mubarak, would compliment both nation's aims.

The Egypt of tomorrow will require a vast array of bureaucracies for local, county, state, and national offices that are guaranteed to grow by at least 10 percent per year for the next 30 years.

While the transition can be structured to exist within an extremely sober and incremental timeline, the cupboards are bare, but the fields are ready for harvest, and thus the meritorious rolls of willing public workers could create more than enough competition to drive the vehicle of excellence to plateaus not unlike that which America experienced during its inception.

The opportunity to truly reach the people of Egypt, and extend veritable forests of olive branches that would strum the chords of unity and utility with a fresh understanding of the principles of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, is nearly limitless.

America could begin a true conversation based on the prospects of superior corporeal civility that would rival much of this nation's allied positions around the world, and could strike an accord that would light a luminescent flame of freedom capable of sparking diplomatic relations never before experienced in the entire region.

If properly engaged, the chance to break new and creative ground with the leaders of Iran, Iraq, Yemen, Israel, Pakistan, Tunisia and so many other nations which are currently unable to relax the guarded stance that has proven to be essential for survival, would usher in a new era of absolute tranquility where respect for the concerns of all people in the Middle East must be the only objective.

This is a golden moment where the entire region can be allowed to witness the true wealth of freedom, and the many portentous prospects that exude when people are encouraged to seek their inner strength, to trust their mind to free expression, and take comfort in their duty as a citizen of a free and fledgling concept which can be molded and mended as time progresses. And rather than become weaker and more fragile over time as is always the case with totalitarian regimes; instead, be a part of a future that grows stronger and more resilient.

It is time to do more, give more, find more, strive to be better than we are, than anyone thought we could be.

Yes, there is so much to be done. Unfortunately so many in the nation will likely find that as the euphoria of emancipation wears off, they may begin to experience a lethargy that could slowly set in like an old arthritic condition that shows up in the winter.

Far too often when an individual, or a group of many individuals, are eventually emancipated from the abuses of an oppressive and dictatorial rule, they tend to take over the role of abuse that they have become so accustomed to. This is a natural dichotomy of human behavior that reflects the human ability to adapt.

This can manifest in many ways. For one, it can drive the victims to live in a somewhat lethargic state, nearly shackled and bound to inaction.

Or it can cause the victims to seek out a surrogate abuser to once again take an active role which can pacify a sustained need that truly does exist. The important thing is to identify this proclivity so that it can be fully engaged and resolved, allowing the victim to break the cycle.

It can even manifest frustration and rage - initially critical human mechanisms which provide strength to break the cycle of abuse. These are fine for expressing survival mechanisms which can sustain the victim for short periods of time, but are not typically those which are compatible with the rigors of daily life (self assertion is what must eventually evolve). This is because various common mechanisms necessary for social interaction and cooperation can appear monotonous and mundane to a person who has been forced to exist for long periods in a state of mere survival.

This is to be expected. What is necessary is to begin taking complete stock of the specific areas of the victim's life, prepare a close analysis of the many levels of pain and anguish that are currently that which typically define the victim. This investigation into the self, must be accomplished with the victim first and foremost as the sole owner of all accountability for identifying, removing and even allowing the abuse.

While this may appear to be an excessive role of responsibility, the truth is that we are speaking only of adults here, and therefore, the only way to truly emancipate the victim from the victimizer is for the victim to completely own the entire force of the abuse. This is necessary to deny any further power to the abuser or oppressor.

This then places all of the power of change in the hands of the victim, and releases the oppressor into the vacuous realms that would otherwise find the victim banished to, if for any reason the victim were to waste even one molecule of energy blaming the oppressor.

To blame Hosni Mubarak for anything that has transpired in Egypt during his brutal, criminal - and at times, let's face it, truly comical reign, is to offer him a level of power over the people that is directly concordant with the level of blame.

It is imperative that the victim completely own each and every facet of the oppression that occurred so that they are supremely compatible with the primary objective of putting the things in place which are guaranteed to prevent it ever occurring again.

Not only is this entirely possible, it is extremely effective, astonishingly powerful, and supremely liberating. Truly, the Egyptian people have the opportunity to grow, mature, progress and expand in ways that the United States will soon be envious of. This opportunity is far more portentous than that which the nation of America found itself holding after its emancipation from oppressive British rule.

This is a fantastic opportunity for Egypt to avoid some of the mistakes that the United States could not avoid, due to the fact that technology today is such that entire nations of people can engage in cooperative congress that exudes - at an exponential pace - the correlating analogies that prepare one for the evolving expansion of cumulative effects which are a part of each and every action humans take.

The Egyptian Constitution, and thereby the government of the nation, can be constructed in such a way as to instill in each and every citizen a critical reverence for the processes which require engagement of jurist prudence, and demonstrable involvement in the legislative, judicial, and executive realms of both the private and public sectors.

New public and private committees should be formed. More equitable tiers of public accountability must be mapped-out and constructed.

Community halls must be filled and fortified with local action groups who are familiar with the needs of the residents and workers in their prospective areas.

Flyers and pamphlets that share basic information about critical services and public functions should be designed and distributed. (such as aid to homeless, hungry, women and children, sick, or elderly. community meetings, special events or rallies, etc.)

Passive action, and crime watch networks may need to be formed for interim security while the nation begins to take over the many things, not only that the Mubarak regime was responsible for, but also the many things that his regime was not doing.

This is a very important part of the process of true emancipation. Because if the liberated cannot see fit to embrace their new found freedom, and meet it on its own terms, this freedom can easily become merely another form of prison, and can cause the subject to seek the realms of identity which are most common, and thus find their self again in a position of an even worse oppression because the oppressed then feels more inclined to indemnify the oppressor in light of the coercive contributions which enable the relationship.

This is why it is typically the younger, succeeding generations whom fight most ardently to break the chains of oppression, refusing to accept the role of subordination that the previous generation had grown to consign themselves to.

It is not because the younger generation is any stronger, it is merely because they feel no responsibility for the engagement, and therefore are not under the impression that it is somehow legitimate.

This author feels entirely confident that great things are on the horizon for Egypt and the entire region of the Middle East.

There is so much to do, see, learn, live and rehabilitate, and the entire process will prove to be the most fulfilling engagements of the millennia if the people understand with complete cognizance the power of truth, and the strength of "equative reasoning".

It is the journey, the stride, the process, the ride; the mechanics and the maintenance, the construction and the creativity which sustains us.

The destination, mechanism, constructed or created will never suffice. This is why destruction has become so dear to so many. It is merely the cry of our creativity that was so long denigrated and defiled.

Truly, we rarely ever actually seek answers when we exist as we were designed. Humanity will always be supremely obsessed with the question.

Master the equations, and the solutions will take care of themselves.

To life and light dear brothers and sisters ...

To our most divine and sublime ... to WORLD FREEDOM!

Egypt in Solidarity, Demand's "Mubarak Go Now"

What is strange is that Suleiman and Mubarak both insist that the people of Egypt must act to save the economy, thus showing that they realize that it is the people who create every facet of the nation, including the bureaucracies which determine its daily governance.

However, the regime is still, like a rapaciously-rebellious and radically-resolute rube, insisting on operating under a pretense that it is the government which must give the people the right to, and therefore the permission for, their self-representation; Mubarak and Suleiman both pontificating a pragmatic facade of pseudo-respect for the evidence which commands this species to embrace these inalienable rights as undeniable, rather than create a presentation of them as mere revisions which shall hence never be abridged.

The regime did not merely err on some ignorantly concocted level of caution, but rather has played a prescient fools game, fully complicit in audacious acrimony, daily delving into realms of denial that do not exist absent a clear and constant engagement of depravity that must choose, under pain of death, refusal to act upon the stark imagery burning into their eyes and hearts a black, sooty, chivalrous senility for decade upon decade.

This latest concession that has been forced from the throat of the regime is mere double-speak that insinuates that it is not the people who create their own destiny, but the government which provides such destiny in a prerequisite form that first and foremost must comply with the prerogatives of a "top down" mentality that clearly defies the meaning of freedom, and the inalienable rights which are its primary foundation.

Neither Hosni Mubarak nor Suleiman will ever be any authority absent a clear and demonstrable authorization exuded from the people of Egypt, and neither will be effective without they recognize them as such. Meaning that, no government shall possess, nor has ever possessed, any power that is not granted it by the people. Regardless of any system of oppression, it only exists at the behest of the its subjects.

However boorish and morbid the analogy may become, the truth is that even if the government were to involve itself in a war with the people that severed ties to a degree that a majority of the people could no longer exist as viable contributors to the national strength, it is the government that would first feel the effects of this weakened position; and therefore fail accordingly.

Moreover, the people are the strength that creates any nation, and they are always that which can bring it down. No standing military, nor any government which controls it, can ever varnish this Universally compliant, and candid, constitution.

There have been far too many instances of covert international alliances that enabled many nations to continue under regimes of oppression that were clearly unsustainable, but were merely exhumed from the graves dug deep by revolution, when secret deals were stuck in the name of change by an alleged rival nation which then absconded with the peoples' trust as they simultaneously supported the crumbling government it vowed to renounce.

Stalin was not the powerful leader that history claims. He was an impotent despot who failed miserably and was several times teetering on the edge of ouster by the people. Only to be propped-up by nations that hid behind the iron curtains of the past...curtains that no longer exist.

It is this rusty, twisted and corroded shield that Mubarak is trying to convince the Egyptian people has not fallen from his grasp and now lay broken and decrepit at their feet. It is the delusion of "continuity by supremacy" that has so oft-denounced the reality that change is constant.

It is the misinterpretation of the Divinity of this Universe which has enabled despots and deities to promulgate the notion that change must be initiated, rather than the truth that change can only be denied. And the only way for any power structure to exist in this denial of the Universal forces of progressive compliance with its will - aka freedom - is for it to utterly defile, defy and decry the salient soul humanity.

Change will come regardless of who or what may intend to stand against it. The spires and pyres redolent with autocracy have long denied the reciprocity that gave rise to them, ascending like pillars in the seas of progress and change, where they corrode at their very foundations in the stench of stagnation they portend is but the sweet smell of excess, demoralizing and mortifying the people with deceptive deliberations intended to convince the bearers of the burden that it is their needs which must be reduced, as the weight of the leadership grows, slovenly and obese, opulent and bovine; haranguing the people with its crushing and callously crafted creeds of criminality.

Mubarak has filled his pockets in the people's markets, enriched himself on the corrosion of his country, fattened and fortified his gut from bursting pantries filled to overflowing with the kibble of controversy, praising the people for their pilfered humility, cooing over their chaste and longing leniency, as he and his minions daily gorged themselves on the supplanted shame and solemnity of their plight.

He has soiled himself in the acrid mirth of death-by-denial, and now plays the martyrs role in the final scene, bowing and crowing like a bread-winner as the emaciated chambers of the auditorium reverberate with boo's and hisses for his defrayed and disloyal acts of decadence and despotism.

This is the time, this is the place. The world awaits oh devilish one. Name your poison, for the gullet of the masses has regurgitated and repulsed the reviling and repugnant bread you have so tardily begged to come break with them, postulating with the pretense of posterity that you never found essential, but rather denounced as excess ... caressing your craven moral clout like a serpent cradled in your iron fist, striking at the hand they have kept extended to you for nearly three, long, cold, dark decades.

Shame on you, oh sadistic and sedentary charlatan of chicanery ... take your spoils and hide your eyes, for the people have seen the light. The belly of the house has bellowed with the laughter of liberty and the pulse of the people is strong to the very tip of the extremities of their reach.

The bleeding hand has become a fist of banishment, and the ascension of the Egyptian Epoch has returned and spoken its lost and laudable language of logic so long ago cloven from the heart of Alexandria by a hellish and haunting presence that shall forever be sent asunder by the rising tides of a worldwide call that has awoken to reclaim its ...

More Rapacious Rhetoric as Obama Denigrates American History

Barack Hussein Obama, acting president of the United States, actually had the gall to state in his Union Address that "we can't win the future with a government of the past." So, just what does Obama think "can" be accomplished without his aid?

Does Obama somehow believe that America's meteoric rise on the global stage was due to his second coming? Does he believe all of the ridiculous sentiment that considers him the "anointed one", or some kind of "messiah" that strolls on water?

Truly, Obama has got to be one of the most self-centered, egomaniacal and inept presidents to have ever inhabited the oval office in these United States.

It is most certainly the "government of the past", both in size and function, which will steer this nation back on course.

While it is certainly true that there are those of honorable mention, such as the veteran legislator from Texas, Dr. Ron Paul, who consistently proves his tenacious dedication to constitutional values, it has been the many deceptive mechanisms of a "modern" government bent on circumventing the constitution that has allowed so many egregious business engagements to proliferate within the nation's various markets.

This government was charged with regulating, according to strictly enumerated powers outlined in the constitution, industry in this country, and do so in compliance with the United States Constitution; and thereby protect the "life, liberty and pursuit of happiness" for each and every individual in this nation regardless of race, religion, gender, class, political affiliation, social status, sexual preference, or affinity for the truth.

However, the majority of government has not engaged this responsibility to any honorable degree for over a century, and it is destroying this nation.

This nation was created to supply the American Dream of Freedom only, not opulence and/or profiteering. The Charter Agreements that were required for anyone, or any company/companies, whom desired to "incorporate" (requiring that they must prove the project or incorporation is for the "good of the people" and last only 5 or 10 yrs, or till completion of the project) is an example of responsible business in a Constitutional Republic of "we the people" which has not been seen since the John D. Rockefeller era.

If this nation were not so infiltrated by treasonous, and indefensibly idealistic, politicians whom do not in any way support or defend its constitution - as their oath demands - then corporate taxes (a growing part of Fascist engagement of Washington, and a clear instigator of corrupt alliances in the "lobbying" shell-game) would not even exist, and business taxes would actually increase the number of jobs in the private sector.

Barack Obama denies this nation and its auspicious roots ad nearly every turn, and it cannot be ignored that his near-sightedness is much less a myopic condition, than a beady eyed ruse.

I have not had the opportunity to see his entire "audacious" rant to the American people. However, it appears he, once again, has denigrated this nation and its many tenacious and resilient citizens with complete aplomb...and utter abandon.

First lady, Michelle Obama's much repudiated statement during the 2007-08 election campaign, where she blurted out that she was for the first time finally proud of this country, appears to have been a sentiment that both she and husband Barack share, regardless of their many attempts to prove otherwise.

An in-depth article concerning highlights of his State of the Union address will be published in the coming days on factbat.com and other sites.

By: Dane Wilson, 23 January 2011 6:20 pm.

One of the most destructive forms of bigotry in the world today is that which is perpetrated upon unwitting masses by protagonists whom favor the side that is winning, or simply laud the powerful - and many times criminal elements which find it advantageous to throw support behind any cause that subverts conjecture and debate.

Now Wall Street, with the aid of a burgeoning Hollywood mentality - where any negativity is spurned as an attack, is adulterating the world of investment with theatrical speculations and nascent notions which accuse skeptics of attempting to discriminate against a religious group simply because they raise important questions concerning the sustainability of the Jewish economic model that much of the finance industry is based upon.

The fact that nine of the ten big Federal Reserve Banks in America are owned and operated by those who claim Jewish heritage cannot continue to go unnoticed or uncontested by the majority of the financial world.

The economic bubbles that are constantly inflating and imploding at an ever-quickening pace are creations of a financial structure that find's its inception in the business model that was set-up by leaders of Jewish persuasion centuries ago. And while many may attempt to accuse anyone who say's this, of being anti-Semitic, the truth is that those who consider themselves Jewish openly claim responsibility for this structure with relish, quite often.

In fact, much of the financial sector literally lauds them for creating such an ingenious system where so many can realize their dream of irreverently and illegitimately wresting power and wealth from unsuspecting consumers and businessmen who instead follow a more moral, and less profitable, code of conduct.

Fractional Reserve banking, which is nothing more than legalized embezzlement, was the creation of mere accountants whom became intoxicated with greed from daily fondling other people's wealth. These lackeys then hypnotized a majority of the government with financial schemes that promised insane returns with veritably no risk - apart from having to somehow create and sustain a strategy which would hold others accountable for any and all losses.

This is when the sustainable practice of issuing Gold Notes to people for actual gold deposits began to decline into an unstable mechanism where the owner of the Gold Depository (bank) was allowed to issue these notes against nothing more than the reputation of the holder of the actual gold, or, "the banker."

This system was created by a variety of groups that then began to fight over the right to rule the game that ensued, and it has been those who adhere to the Jewish doctrine whom most prevalently found the plausible deniability of this structure to be perfectly tailored to their primary goals of dominance via manipulation.

This, anything-but-gregarious, Jewish-sentiment is not all that surprising actually, given the fact that those who pledge allegiance to this doctrine raise their children on a consistent diet of paranoia and pre-emption that is expected to protect them from a variety of attacks from allegedly anti-Semitic sources. And while it is true that those in the Jewish religion have been persecuted at various stages in human history (as has most any group of people), the vast majority of the planet has been incessantly treated to duplicitous show's of martyr-dome and victimization that have played out over a wide range of staged events, legitimate atrocities, pernicious allegations and authoritarian alliances on state, national and global scales.

The problem is that protagonists are being allowed to silence all opposition to the corrosive mechanism of moral hazard that is being employed, simply because it is alleged to be primarily controlled by a Jewish Oligarchy, and the vast majority of the population does not realize that discrimination in favor of a group of people is even more destructive than discrimination against a group of people.

This protagonist approach is destructive for many reasons, however, if for no other reason than the group will always opt for a group-mentality where even the most maniacal and destructive actions are considered acceptable as long as they protect the group itself. Within the group-mentality is where ridiculous notions such as "live and let die" actually find their inception.

It is imperative to proper human growth that each and every individual eschew such morbidity in opt for a more sustainable understanding where "live and let live" determines the course, and defines more clearly the group’s objective as that which must exist in an environment where mastering the equation is the primary engagement, and one's illegitimate fear of the solution is realized to be most destructive of all.

The Jewish doctrine, just like most any other monotheistic belief structure, contains various illogical and unwarranted fear-based components that unfortunately lead people to welcome, and even seek out, their own demise. That so many of the powerful elite have become nihilistic and self-destructive is entirely predictable, and should be a red flag to those who are witnessing the current push toward a more Fascist national sentiment where the Corporation has become the primary influence on government policy.

Furthermore, for one to simply expose those who consider themselves to be Jewish first and human second, for following a separatist structure, does not make one an anti-Semite. And one will note that no group of people on this planet ever appears to complain about being lauded, or granted opportunities, based on their group’s affiliation, nor any individual merely for being a member of that group.

This double standard that nearly all of the planet's peoples are engaging in is responsible for nearly every inhospitable human development throughout recorded history. And if not brought to bear, will reap increasingly cataclysmic developments in the future.

The fact that how-to books such as "Rich Dad" now teach a vast majority of parents to raise their children with a cut-throat, speculative model where they are taught to engage in extreme moral hazard in a market of fabricated scarcity, should be exposed as a bigoted and separatist mentality that is ensuing as a result of class-based, pseudo-racial divisions of destructive denial within American society.

A growing number of citizens in this nation are resisting the encroaching perversions of what has become a rather deformed facsimile of capitalism, and would rather enlist a more sustainable and equitable engagement of the world around them, and thus their honorable intentions typically force them to repudiate much of what is being considered the bedrock of this nation's global positioning within the international scene.

Therefore, the majority of this nation's most important resources -- its human resources -- are being pushed out of the loop, so to speak, and it is decreasing this nation's ability to compete on a global scale.

Allowing mad-hatter money-mavens and pragmatic profiteers to invade the markets and create mountains of toxic debt, and conscript everything from drug smugglers and dictators to egomaniacal environmentalists and race-baters for profit, has squandered most of what was left of American confidence around the world.

Wall Street junkies have been allowed to pound the pulpit of greed with impunity in an oligarchic spectacle that has seduced millions into bathing themselves in moral hazard, clamoring for the brittle peaks of ostensible opulence, while their filthy lies shower swindled investors with acid rains of acrimony that corrode the very foundation of this economy.

Confidence has become the moniker of fidelity in a casino-style financial system where equity is rivaled by entropy. It has become popular to only think positively; to refuse to believe that there must be both growth and decay or the model becomes deformed and destabilized. All while Wall Street cronies preach eternally-escalating values and no-risk returns as they bet against the unavoidable declines they then criminally coordinate.

These days one is better equipped to survive unmolested if they profess the power of positive thinking over the prudence of proletariat presence, and it is best to be for everything - the good, the bad and the ugly - if one expects to ever see the top of the pile. Even if one is for the exploitation of children as sex-slaves, simply the promulgation of tolerance for any number of currently reigning power structures, however benevolent or sublime, creates for them a bulwark against exposure or repudiation for their sick depravity.

However, if one is against nearly anything, there exists a group which will attack and attempt to destroy them for it, regardless of any amount of honorable contributions they may have produced within the society as a whole.

The moronic and mendacious fear-mongering that is enabled within this environment allows entities such as Wall Street to engage in various forms of market manipulation where the primary players lock hands with a web of national and international organizations, agencies and conglomerates which can then employ concerted rhetoric that is capable of destabilizing entire economies.

However, it must be understood that the merging seas of the world’s constantly evolving communications and media technologies will bring this unfolding scheme together in an accelerating and unprecedented fashion that will both exfoliate, and erode it as wave after wave of insolvency comes crashing down upon it.

The majority of Wall Street should have been forced into bankruptcy during the ‘07-’08 meltdown so that this country could begin purging itself of the toxic business model that still infects this economy.

The bail-outs that the Bush and Obama administrations orchestrated were nothing but smoke and mirrors that were employed to hide the fact that the majority of the so-called ultra-rich are nothing but a bunch of idiotic buffoons who consistently prove they know nothing about investing; as they lose hundreds of billions of dollars with their tacitly-engaged bullish pranks.

However, the real story is that these erodent vermin were incessantly lauded and conscripted by an inept government that does not want to admit their ignorance for fear of being thrown from office, and thus has elicited the silence of these cash-hungry-cohorts in exchange for allowing them to continue fleecing the public. So now these sinister, market-magicians are fearlessly re-engaging the economy with despicably atypical methods of slight-of-hand...clutching a bloodied and torn economic carcass...shaking it in the face of the masses as they claim they have pulled yet another snowy, white rabbit out of their cold, sable, aristocratic hat.

Now comes the all-too-real segue of plausible deniability encroaching on the nation because, as usual, the world has been treated to the pathetic spectacle of several sacrificial lambs, and another mobster-style hoard of maniacal money mavens can breathe easier while the public devours their offering; staving-off the inevitable judgment day that will surely come when the progress of humanity finally wakes this species’ collective conscience to the fact that they have been utterly duped into contributing to their own demise by nothing more than a two-bit shell game.

Tanganyika: Latest Victim Of Deceptive "Cap & Trade's" Economic Assault

In an article by Reuters reporter Tim Cocks, and posted on Yahoo News, titled “Africa’s lake Tanganyika warming fast, life dying” the sensationalists are once again seeking to bolster the audacious claim that anthropogenic Global Warming is more than the hoax it has been proven to be.

Now they are claiming that Lake Tanganyika, in East Africa, is suffering various maladies and threats to wildlife due to damaging levels of Green House Gases -- the main proponents alleged to be causing destructive climate change on the planet -- concordant with the theory that the planet is warming as a result of human activity.

However, the article fails to take into account many of the contradictory facts. Such as, their do not appear to be any other large bodies of water experiencing the identical effects, even ones near this geographical location. Or that the lake is one of the planet’s deepest fresh water bodies, and is situated within a volcanically volatile area. Or that its extreme depths and sedentary state contribute greatly to its inability to circulate water mass. Or that over-fishing, geological disturbances, water diversion and environmental factors are some of the main contributors to the adverse effects to Tanganyika, as highlighted by the article.

Furthermore, the author cites some “scientific paper” that alleges that Tanganyika has heated up sharply over the past 90 years, and it now warmer than at any time in the last 1,500 years.

The article goes on to state that “lead scientist on the project Jessica Tierney told Reuters the sharp rise in temperature coincided with rises in human emissions of Greenhouse Gasses seen in this past century, so the study added to evidence that emissions are warming the planet.” Oh, how nice, kill two birds with one stone. Unfortunately there is no conclusive data to support these claims by the alleged scientist.

The article goes on to use volatile terms such as “INTENSE WARMING” (in all capitals). It also claims that the oceans, seas and lakes all absorb a huge amount of heat.

However, bodies of water are actually more effective at cooling the planet’s atmosphere than absorbing heat generated by it, and a more logical area of research would be that which sought to investigate how decreasing water resources, and availability, could affect global temperature. But then it is more difficult to devise strategies aimed at conserving water that would also generate large sums of revenue. Thus nobody is likely to see any such study on the front page any time soon.

The article also claims that “…Tanganyika has become warmer, increasingly stratified and less productive over the past 90 years” as quoted by the scientific paper. But there is not much data to support this claim either, since commercial fishing did not actually begin to proliferate in the region until the mid 1950’s. Whatever local fishing, or its sentiments, that did occur prior to this are not well documented, and thus cannot be relied upon for conclusive scientific papers expecting the level of influence this one is attempting to generate.

Another rather dubious assessment of by the “scientists” is that they are showing the alleged trend of Global Warming -- that by the way, is in complete contrast to exceedingly concrete proof that the planet is experiencing a cooling phase -- is affecting remote places in the tropics “in a very sever way,” as quoted by Tierney.

This assessment is actually more exculpatory to the argument presented by those who claim that Global Warming is a hoax. The fact is that if Global Warming were caused by human activity, then it would only influence temperatures in variances that reflected the atmospheric extremes in a particular region.

This means that those areas which are emitting the most Greenhouse Gasses, or which find themselves a focal point for the collection of such gasses, should be those most affected. However, Africa is not an area where such gasses are emitted in high concentrations, or where they would naturally collect, since CO2 generally gravitates away from heat. It would stand to reason that CO2 would concentrate in those areas which were most compatible with its basic propensity to fall within the atmosphere, and that would be colder regions. Also, one cannot ignore the likelihood that the Earth’s magnetic flux has some influence on the activities of CO2.

Tierney also goes on to state that “life has been harmed because in a lake as deep as Tanganyika, the nutrients form at the bottom but the algae needed to make use of them lives at the top.”

This statement makes very little sense at all, since most of the lake is naturally warm, and lakes do not typically mix waters on a large scale since they are smaller, land-locked bodies of water that are not greatly affected by planetary gravity and movement. As far as nutrients being unavailable to algae due to its being at the bottom of the lake, this also does not make much sense in light of the fact that the nutrients she is talking about are not propagated throughout the lake simply by the movements of water generated by temperature variations. Most nutrients are passed throughout various placid aquatic habitats by the activities of the creatures that call them home. Take away these creatures, and the balance it upset.

She also claims that “Higher temperatures mean less mixing of waters at the top and bottom, that’s why a warmer lake means less life.” However, as one will note later in the article, lake Malawi does not seem to have any problems of this nature. On the contrary, there are many extremely warm bodies of water, in various tropical and arid regions, which are literally teeming with life. Furthermore, there are various species of life which exist rather amiably in temperatures of over 400 degrees Fahrenheit in the deep ocean where they thrive in volcanic vents on the sea floor.

Strangely enough, the article actually squeaks out a small statement at the end of the article that completely discredits almost the entire piece when it say’s “But the paper admits that other factors, like over-fishing, may be doing more harm than any warming.”

But enough of the conjecture, here are some solid facts on the matter.

Lake Tanganyika is the third largest freshwater lake in the world, and the second deepest. Only Lake Baikal, in Siberia is deeper. It is bordered by Burundi, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Tanzania, and Zambia. Its waters flow, by way of the Lukuga River, into the Congo River system which eventually empties into the Atlantic Ocean.

Because of the lake’s extreme depths, a feature caused by its proximity within the Western Rift, the water at the bottom is anoxic, or “fossil water”, which means that it lacks available oxygen. This is naturally influenced by the tropical atmosphere in the region, and is alleged to prevent ‘turnover’ of water-masses. However, this phenomenon does not always occur in every case, and mixing of water masses is affected by many other atmospheric and environmental activities such as wind, barometric pressure and precipitation.

In complete contrast to this fact, the article claims that the lack of oxygen at Tanganyika’s lower depths is a direct result of Global Warming that is heating its surface area, and thereby preventing the natural cycles of disbursement of water throughout the lake, which are typically believed to be generated by ambient temperature differences at various depths.

The author appears to be eluding to the aquatic activity known as up-welling or down-welling. However, this phenomenon is only known to occur to any significant degree in the planet’s oceans, and is greatly affected by strong ocean currents and tidal fluctuations which do not exist in fresh water lakes and other intercontinental waters. There are some facsimiles of tidal movement in the larger lakes, but these are extremely small, and are merely created by changing weather patterns, rather than the overall effect of the Earth-Moon orbital relation.

Tanganyika has a surface elevation of 2,563 ft. It is categorized as a “rift lake”, and is the largest of its kind in Africa. This means that it was formed as a result of subsidence related movement on faults within a rift zone, an area of extensional tectonics in the continental crust (reference “Rift lake” Wikipedia.com). It is 673 kilometers long in a general north-south direction, and averages 50 kilometers in width. Its average depth is 570 meters (1,870 ft), with a maximum depth of 1,470 meters (4,820 ft). It holds approximately 4500 cubic miles of water and has an average surface temperature of 25 degrees Celsius, with a moderately alkaline pH that averages approximately 8.4.

At the bottom of this massive body of water, there is an estimated 4,500 meters of sediment which covers the rock floor, as a result of constant contributions from the quickly eroding highlands where three main rivers carry it into the lake -- the Ruzizi, Kalambo, and Malagarasi.

As far as the assertion that Greenhouse Gasses are adversely affecting the equilibrium of Tanganyika, and are the primary cause of decreasing fish populations and other aquatic species that call its waters home, there is no conclusive evidence whatsoever to even surmise such a position, let alone prove it. There has been no evidence that its alkalinity has significantly reduced in any way, and this is a precursor that so many scientists claim is the main injury to bodies of water allegedly adversely affected by CO2 emissions.

What is a likely the primary factor causing decreased fish populations in Tanganyika are the over 1,000,000 people living around the lake who get 25-40% of their daily protein from fish caught there, and the over 100,000 people directly involved in the operation of fisheries from almost 800 sites serving the 10 million people who live in that basin.

Furthermore, the main biomass of fish is found in the pelagic zone (open waters) and consists primarily of six species: two species of Tanganyika sardine and four species of predatory lates (predatory fish related to the Nile perch, which are known to have devastated Lake Victoria’s cichlids). What is most likely is that over-fishing has directly decreased fish populations, and also indirectly affect the natural order of the food chain that many of the species rely upon, and thus upset the balance between predator and prey. This creates a secondary resource crisis that first affects the fish, and then the humans that rely on them for food and jobs, since the predator population is decreased, or forced to adapt its diet, in direct proportion to the lack of available food. As the effects of this secondary impact begin to increase, it infringes on other less suspecting resources such as aquatic propensities, plant life, and available habitats.

Commercial fishing of Tanganyika has been a staple and booming business throughout East Africa since the 1950’s, and is well documented to have had a major impact on the pelagic fish species. Many industrial fisheries created during the 1980’s boom have since collapsed, but there is no evidence to support that it was due to Global Warming.

Lake Tanganyika is also home to various species of endemic cichlid fishes which are highly sought after for their bright color, and support a burgeoning market which supply’s a vast portion of popular aquarium fish to many regions.

The lake is also home to many endemic species of invertebrates such as mollusks, crabs, shrimps, copepods, jellyfishes and leeches, among others.

What is striking, is that the article say’s noting about the fact that many scientists have claimed in major main stream media outlets (ie, “Acid Oceans; Climate Changes Evil Twin” released by Associated Press) that excess CO2 in the atmosphere, and its expected contribution to increased levels in the water due to carbon sink activities, are debasing (acidifying) the planet’s oceans and other large bodies of water, and damaging the shells of such invertebrates. The article also conveniently neglects to mention any evidence that this phenomenon may be occurring in Tanganyika.

What is notable, is the that Tanganyika has been a focal point of the International Union for Conservation of Nature’s (IUCN) massive Water and Nature initiative since 2004, where the United States has invested more than $27 million into attempting to monitor the resources and state of the lake, and create a bench mark for acceptable levels of sediments, pollution, and overall water quality, to be governed by a lake basin management authority established by the IUCN.

The Tanganyika project was initially slated to be a five year engagement, and is therefore up for review in 2010. When one considers the state of the nation’s economy, it is easy to assume that the IUCN, and its counterparts, are seeking to continue the project -- and its proposed establishment of regulatory bureaucracies -- by attempting to tap into the revenues which are expected to be generated by the Global Warming money train, and resulting cap and trade legislation so many politicians are getting prepared to force through.

This is likely a necessary strategy proposed as an alternate source to government funding, since the political atmosphere is currently, at best, inhospitable to further financing of these types of foreign projects, in light of huge budget shortfalls across the board in America. Furthermore, in this current global economic decline, congress would likely not be willing to chance further financing of the project with tax dollars, as they prepare for the growing political storm that is sure to blow in this November.

If it is found that over-fishing and local contamination alone are the cause of the alleged degradation of Tanganyika’s aquatic environment, then it will require various local resources and investments by East Africa which would, of course, affect proposed profit margins for the project creators, as well as seats on any board of directors. This proposed sharing of the bureaucracy, and its revenue generating capacities, certainly would not be a first move by those who are invested in the project, and so comes the scare tactics and demand for ecologic ransom from an already languishing private sector.

This presents as quite an incentive for the IUCN to enlist the assistance of dubious scientists who will back a finding of environmental hazard, for which the preventing of such, can then be financed by expected revenues that many governments intend to strong-arm from the private sectors of any nation willing to participate in the charade of anthropogenic Global Warming; a bombastically publicized lie by Al Gore and his discredited fantasy crockumentary “An Inconvenient Truth.”

However, I am in favor of Gore making more nature films. But only if they are of an up-close and personal interview with the infamous man-eating crocodile Gustave, which is known to inhabit the lake and has killed many humans over the years.

There is every reason to believe that if, and only if, the temperature of Tanganyika is actually increasing, like the article claims, then it could easily be as a result of increased geothermal activity beneath the floor of the lake. The region that it inhabits is well known to be an active area of plate shifts that appear to be expanding the basin that creates Tanganyika.

Tanganyika is part of the Great Rift Valley, where the divergent plate boundary -- created by the Nubian and Somali plate -- which extends from the Afar Triple Junction southward across East Africa, is in the process of splitting the African Plate into two separate plates.

It should also be noted that the Dead Sea is in close proximity to Tanganyika, and was dead long before any chance of anthropogenic activities could have affected it in any manner whatsoever.

Lake Malawi, another of Africa’s great lakes and third largest, is situated south of Tanganyika, and between Mozambique and Tanzania. It is the second deepest lake in Africa, and its tropical waters are reportedly the habitat to more species of fish than any other body of water on Earth.

What is remarkable is that Malawi’s average temperature ranges between 75 and 84 degrees Fahrenheit, with a deep water temperature of 72 degrees year around. However, the article claiming that Global Warming is destroying the water chemistry of Tanganyika mentions nothing about this conflicting data. And although preservation and environmental factors are a critical area of research in preventing the destabilization of the world’s resources, over-fishing and water pollution still does not appear to have created an unmanageable crisis in Malawi as it has in Tanganyika.

Many of the facts concerning the dimensions of Lake Tanganyika were taken from the Wikipedia website article on the region.
