Ed Schultz Show Proves Educators Uneducated

In a piece on msnbc.com, Ed Schultz attempts to explain why Wisconsin governor Scott Walker's budget is an attack on public education, and stretches just about every bit of fact one could possibly get a skewed mentality to expand around.

He not only takes personal pot-shots at Walker by airing what amounts to a repetitive schizophrenia of sound-bite clips of him saying the word "tools" - as Walker attempts to explain to voters that the only reason massive cuts are coming to the employee base of Wisconsin's public school system is because union proponents are forcing his hand - Schultz also completely ignores the fact that what is forcing Walker to amend the powers of the budget to allow laying off over 1,500 public employees, is the irresponsible and juvenile tactics employed by the Democrats who have fled the state to prevent a vote on the budget bill which, among other things, ends collective bargaining rights for state employees.

The fact is that this simple measure does not in any way prevent teachers from bargaining for wage increases, nor does it prevent them from influencing legislation that would affect the system they work in, it would merely prevent them from enforcing their influence as if it were law, and forces them to become more involved with the citizens they are accountable to, rather than acting as just another arm of the government.

What is astonishing is that Schultz then begins to show emails and comments by teachers where they act as if they are forced to police the public education system.

These educational professionals are contributing to a declining system where they consistently demand more and more money because they say that their jobs are becoming more difficult due to the lack of parental guidance, as adolescent behaviors become increasingly volatile. However, they never appear to be able to interject some form of actual qualitative easing of this pandemic crisis.

That the system is in many ways broken is clearly the result of those who are working in the schools. What is remarkable is that the teacher that Schultz uses as his example of what teachers are harangued with, proves that she in no way understands her job, or what needs to be done to enable the system to evolve equitably with the proper levels of equative reasoning that would ensure the posterity of the structure.

Jacquelyn Hayworth, in an email to EDSCHULTZSHOW.COM, claims that people just don't know what it takes to be a teacher because they are unaware of what transpires on campuses. She say's teachers have to "know the right words to tell a child that her mother lost her battle with cancer and has died." However, this is not really true, and there are plenty of school counselors who get paid to engage this type of subject matter.

Furthermore, often the best thing a person can do in this type of scenario is say that they "are not quite sure just what to say". Furthermore, merely a sincere compassion for others creates an environment where genuine listening techniques instill in one a greater concern for the plight of others and goes a long way in cultivating bonds of human intuition that allows both parties to be significant contributors to the learning process.

Oh, but don't dare say this to a teacher these days, or you may find yourself serving some detention. And I challenge any "teacher" to debate me on this one point alone. Truthfully, with all due respect, the majority of the education professionals in the nation are merely those who are holding degrees from courses of instruction that have taught them little - nor can they - of what it truly means to be a teacher. Really, few want to get me started on this subject, as is it a near and dear passionate area of research, and I intend to see a sober change occur in this arena, rather than blast the system with explosive information that would find the public rolls of reprobates digging ditches for a while. I am sick and tired of seeing the incessant abuse of the children in this nation, and it is going to end on my watch; mark my words. But I digress.

Hayworth goes on to say "be prepared to comfort a child who's parent was arrested for domestic abuse ... and then continue teaching the basics" and therein lies part of the problem my dear. Just why is domestic abuse not a basic area of learning in this nation? Why are children not engaged in conversation concerning the society that they live in, and allowed to grow as the society progresses, and thereby find themselves empowered with the understanding that it is they who are the influence and creators of the society they live within.

I will tell you why. Because the unions have allowed the government to become the primary influence on education. And if this is allowed then public education will consistently be skewed by the inherent conflict of interest that this relationship creates. To an eventual pervasive pattern of thinking which demands that the group is more important, and therefore more powerful, than the individual.

It would be extremely wise for the many parents in this nation to get their heads together and begin to take true stock of just what is going on around them. While there are many indications of secretive entities and promulgated conspiratorial criminalities, the fact is that much of the system is simply being perverted by aberrant mechanisms which are the result of faulty reasoning and idealistic pragmatism.

The constructs of American society were initially meant to evolve as a clear representation of that which was found to be "self evident", and while this is a superlative means of laying the foundations of a free and fortuitous social order, it is not all inclusive as a definitive societal schematic.

I will need to be a bit vague form here on out, as I am currently late for an appointment. I would however, request that this nation be very wary of the fear mongering that Mr. Schultz appears all too comfortable spreading like a disease upon the entire society.

For so many educators to be attempting to push young minds through the "cookie cutters" if you will, of the average teacher's level of expertise is one of the most corrosive parts of the system. And it will never simply right itself, especially when staff are consistently contributing to the crisis by demanding that the system simply needs more capital investment, rather than greater efficiency and insight. The system cannot repair itself, it will need several firm pushes in the right direction.

Truly, the steps that Scott Walker is taking are paramount to initiating the kinds of reform that the school system desperately needs.

His policies may not be the best thing for all people, but the budget needs to become less of the issue at this point because it has only confused the real subject of increasing the nation's ability to engage students in manner that is cohesive with society. And therefore must be that which seeks to implement though processes which are compatible with the changes that must occur if America is to lead the world in a better understanding of the future concerns of all mankind.

This does not ever require that the United States force its will on any other nation, but instead graft a wholesome and prodigious quality of life onto everything it engages in, and therefore show others what is truly possible. Essentially, leading by example, and for anyone who can see clearly the crisis that is engulfing much of the planet, they must honorably admit that America is currently shirking this duty.

If this America is to progress upon the net-contributions of the citizens whom call this nation home, then a more explicit form of self worth will need to be cultivated among the entire society. Simply creating a system of compromise and contrast will not suffice, as this only expects people to compete. And while competition is a precursor to liberty, it is not the basis of inspiration as so many currently believe.

To say "survival of the fittest" is to deny the common threads that bind all humanity to the intellectual realm of our ingenuity, and that which allows the species to govern a social order while simultaneously essentially pitting an entire populous against each other by rewarding achievement.

There are far too many systematically depressive functions which are pervasive in both the private and public learning sectors, and they only serve to oppress many people's achievements or abilities in order to place entire groups on a gradient curve of learning. The reason this has gotten so out of hand is because the teachers of the nation, in many areas of instruction, have been allowed to place a price on availability of information, rather than the quality of the instructors or the practicality of the instruction.

Unions themselves were never the proper mechanism for addressing the many disparities that evolved in the business and manufacturing arenas in this nation. What is necessary is structuring the system so that the abuses are not inherent to the process.

Rather than the private sector of the nation logically engaging the government and holding it accountable for regulating commerce and preserving competition - by diligently following the Constitution and enacting legislation that prohibited the abuse of workers - while simultaneously restraining the power of that government, the Incorporation of the market ensued under a nefarious influence of government by a wealthy minority, and thus the advent of a perverse lending market became the primary means of creating power and profit and set the stage for stripping this nation of its true wealth.

The power brokers then set to fomenting crisis after crisis that caused a panicked financial system which now controls the entire economy with little more than speculative investing. Truly, this is why gas prices are so high, regardless of the fact that the source of the oil is clear across the Atlantic Ocean.

This is all I can do for now, but I will soon be posting some information on areas of investing that are finally beginning to evolve as a pertinent presence among the nation's middle class. I will be speaking of various things such as precious metals, commodities, real estate and diversity, and just why one should be cautious of how, why and when they invest.
