British Scientists "Egg"-On The Debate, Claim Chickens Came First
An hilarious (to me anyhow) article purporting to answer the age-old question of “which came first, the chicken or the egg?” has been written by British scientists who claim that the answer is “the chicken.” What is so amusing is that the question itself is somewhat of an esoteric misnomer of an underlying query as to the origins of life. However, the article takes an empirically obtuse position assuming that merely the existence of a protein -- necessary for the formation of an egg -- found only in the ovaries of chickens is proof that the chicken must have come first or there would be no egg shell production. Their proposed solution to this adage is no solution at all considering the fact that evolution exists and therefore the presence of a protein is only as relevant to the design and function of a complex organism, as is that protein’s natural association within the cycle of life. To be clear, for a chicken to have come into existence, it would require some form of nurturing element that enabled it to survive the precursory realms of fetal growth absent the ability to sustain itself. Therefore, any proteins necessary to accomplish this, likely being elementally prevalent within its specific environment, would necessarily be structurally endowed within its DNA on a molecular basis, and passed on to the chicken during gestation. The relative questions are, what environment satisfied these elemental precursors, and what evolutionary cycles culminated in that which humans currently know as “the egg”? The likelihood is that the chicken, at its initial genetic inception, was not what it is today, but merely a close facsimile. It was also, quite possibly, a lot smaller and less feathered. Furthermore, the chance that it is not the first of its particular genus, but instead is a sub category of winged creature, is a significant detractor from the analysis by the British scientists…and of course of paramount consideration when clearly disseminating the abstract query as to the perception of spectral dominance. The egg itself is a common fetal incubator for a great many biological species on the planet; everything from spiders to crocodiles, and these complex living organisms are all inured with host-specific elements which enable them to produce these eggs. To surmise that each and every one of them were somehow created instantaneously out of thin air is extremely negligent as regard’s the parameters necessary to basic empirical research expected of the scientific community. However, this is exactly what the British scientists appear to be insinuating when they completely ignore basic elements which point to a more complex definition of the mechanisms of cellular function and growth that obviously enabled the advent of the primary prehistoric biological organisms from which the contemporary chicken descended. The question of “which came first the chicken or the egg?” is most certainly a valid and inexorably definitive investigation that exists in a realm of scientific complexity which is entirely inherent to this species’ ability to perceive its intrinsic function, and therefore, must be completely dissected and explained in a proof positive logic which exposes every facet of its entire structure. Game on boys…
