American Basics Part One: Liberal Left or Religious Right?
DEMOCRAT OR REPUBLICAN? What is remarkable in today’s political atmosphere is the level of self efficacy that has exponentially devolved upon each succeeding generation of politicians. The only difference between Democrats and Republicans now appears to be that the former believes themselves to be the only ones with all of the answers, and the latter believes they speak for the one who created all of the questions. The delusion of the Liberal Left has proven just as destructive as the illusion from the Religious Right, and neither of these groups, whether environmentally obtuse or pragmatically profuse, are any less idealistically misguided than the other. The fact is just that one side wants to force equal results from variant equations, and the other cultivates ignorance of the inequities regardless of the inhospitable implications. If the Left and the Right were to actually begin to address the political spectrum with true objectivity this nation could possibly survive the democratic debacle that has ensued as a result of the many decades of Constitutional detachment that both sides have fostered. I was listening to a radio talk show this morning on AM KSFO, and I was surprised to hear Ben Shapiro, an obviously intelligent conservative author and academic, claim that nowhere in the United States Constitution is there any reference to the separation of Church and State. Shapiro, a professed Conservative, appears to be afflicted with the same disease that he rightly believes may be infecting those who oppose him, and which is causing the Liberal Left to invariably consign to an ideology that they are inherently smarter than everyone else and thus are destined to rule for the betterment of humanity. Note that neither side ever speaks of Wisdom or Intuition. To be clear, these are both areas of intelligence which require inexplicable continuity inured by a bevy of positive results before they can ever be expected to exude upon ones character. Thus these realms are typically avoided by the average politician. One current exception is Republican Congressman Ron Paul, who is generally demonized by both Liberals and Conservatives. At any rate, there are various portions of the Constitution which clearly state the framers’ desire to separate Church and State, such as the fact that the First Amendment clearly states “Congress shall make no law recognizing an establishment of religion, or prohibit the free exercise thereof; or abridge the freedom of speech…”. To be even clearer, the fact is that all forms of Monotheism are patently opposed to freedom in any fashion, whether it be of speech or behavior, and it has been this religiosity which incessantly fertilized the propagation of ignorant self denial and perverse shame which is responsible for a majority of this species’ social angst and depravity. Furthermore, fear and fantasy are the prerequisite mechanisms which create within Monotheism the strategic weapon used to attack the lowest common human denominator in an effort to convert the uninhabited bodies left rotting and soulless in the gutters of poverty and starvation. Faith becomes more palatable to those who are most negatively affected by the selections they have made in life, or have been made for them. It’s a logical evolution to be sure, and Monotheism both seeks to create and exploit the disparities of this common dichotomy of human relations. Ignorance truly is bliss because it is humanity’s most auspicious ability. But I digress. The Constitution further articulates the separation of Church and State when in the 6th Article Paragraph 3 it says “The Senators and Representatives…and the Members of the several State Legislatures, and all Executive and Judicial Officers, both of the United States and the several States, shall be bound by Oath or Affirmation, to support this Constitution; but no religious Test shall ever be required as a Qualification to any Office or public Trust under the United States.” This clearly separates Church and State in that it expressly prohibit’s the Church from imposing any actual will in, or upon, the realms of government. This then presents the basic tenets of the Constitution as a formulae that would more aptly create an atheist government, in ardent respect for humanity regardless of the sensationalist accusations by Monotheists who contend that such autonomy would cast the world into darkness and debauchery. Thus their unrelenting desire to force compliance to Monotheistic doctrines, both in the private and public atmosphere. Those who wrote the Constitution even drafted a provision which is specifically designed to respect any and all persons elected, including those who may be adverse to taking an “oath”, and whom would rather consider their promise to the people to be an “affirmation” that held out no claims of which could be construed to mean that their reason for articulating this promise was in respect of, or honor to, any form of “god”. But instead was the result of their unswerving respect for the Constitution and the sovereignty bestowed, and yea gifted, upon this entire nation by the united assemblage of its individual citizens, and the states they choose to inhabit. Furthermore, the 1st Article Section 9 Paragraph 8 reads “no title of nobility shall be granted by the United States: and no person holding any office of profit or trust under them, shall, without the consent of Congress, accept of any present, emolument, office, or title, of any kind whatever, from any King, Prince, or Foreign State.” Given the fact that the framers of the Constitution were entirely aware of the implications of a Monarchial system of governance, and the fact that such a system is ruled by a single sovereignty which claims to have been bestowed its powers from a sole supremacy invariably labeled “God” -- and which is ethereal, and both unaccountable and unavailable to the masses -- the Monotheistic subversion of the individual is thereby indivisible from any portion of such a system, either directly or indirectly. Moreover, this section of the Constitution clearly intimates an aversion to all forms of centrally created primacy which are based solely on a claim that they are sanctioned by an unquestionable authority which enables them to claim particular superiority, regardless that this authority exudes no empirical proof of actual existence. Thus this form of authority was not only excluded from governance, but felt to be demonstrably inhospitable within the private sectors as well. The forefathers of this nation appear to have been those who were both inexplicably honorable, and also wise to the fact that the only authority which is truly viable is that which indefatigably respects the contributions of autonomous individuals. Thus they did their best to exude the belief that regardless of what higher power any person may desire as their authority, none is allowed to claim supremacy in any fashion, and all persons are invariably born with identical inalienable rights, and therefore must be treated accordingly, and afforded identical opportunities. This does not mean that all humans are created equal, or intended to become equally successful or proficient. Just that all are afforded the same opportunities to engage the world according to their particular talents and visions. And therefore, not only is the Republican Right guilty of subversion of many individual rights by cultivating a system which has overemphasized wealth by equating it with power and authority, but the Liberal Left is also guilty of the same subversion by demanding that the individual is merely a mechanism, or cog, in the great machine, and therefore constrained by the incapacity of others. While it is true that Socialism and Communism are excessively destructive and inhumane in myriad contexts, if this planet’s billions of individuals had not been so severely indoctrinated by the supremacies and self denial of Monotheism they would not be so victimized by delusional fears and fantasies today; and which now pit brother against brother. Truly, those who wrote the book of Revelations did not need to be shown visions by some pious supreme being for them to be able to see the corporeal ramifications the future would bring if mankind was forced to exist in such a hubris and balkanizing theatre of extreme fanaticism. What is unfortunate is that both the Left and the Right are creating incorrigible and inequitable edicts and strategies that are patently Unconstitutional and anti-American. The only difference between the two is that the Left typically uses sophistry and mendacity to misrepresent or denounce the Constitution as an obstacle which is outdated and illegitimately prevents them from imposing what they believe to be critical authoritarian rule based on a self professed supremacy which they use to paint themselves as enigmatically superior to the people. And the Right, regardless of the fact that their Conservative doctrine is superior to Liberalism, rebelliously refuses to see the reality that they do not somehow become “correct by default” simply because they oppose the delusional Left, and therefore their debased position has become increasingly skewed and detached as the nation has progressed. It is time for Conservatives to loosen the strangle hold they now have on the fear based ideology that is inundating the party with war-mongerers and hawks who expect to employ a preposterously pragmatic approach to social disparities, and understand that it is not one’s ability to impede or indemnify the solution, that gets results. But instead, it is ones mastery of the equation, and engagement of the mechanism, which will lead this nation back to its prosperous and auspicious heritage. This nation became prosperous for one reason only; because it had to. Now that America has proven its ability to be the world’s greatest nation, it has begun to ignore the lessons it appears much of the people may have never properly learned or understood in the first place. To be continued…
