The laptop appears to have taken a nosedive off of the proverbial cliff, and thus the author of factbat.com will not be able to post articles until funds are available to either buy a new laptop or repair the piece of junk Hewlett Packard Pavillion 6408 model that has now garnered class action lawsuits against HP for selling defective equipment.

It also appears that HP is about to have another lawsuit on their hands because they have lied to and evaded this consumer for far too long now.

There were articles being worked on that are now stalled in the interim, and as well there are many pressing current events and issues which this author would be posting articles on, however, the lack of equipment makes it nearly impossible to compose them.

Suffice it to say that the latest offering by the Catholic Church is a far cry from assuming accountability or taking responsibility for their abuse of what are likely millions of people -- considering the exponential magnitude of the collateral damage caused. And to once again be expecting to absolve persons for transgressions simply by punishing them is evidence that the church is still as disconnected and dysfunctional as they were from the beginning.

It must be understood that a large portion of those who for many years in the past were preists of the Catholic Church, could not themselves have actually believed there even is a god for them to be held accountable to. Since, for many decades priests routinely raped, or consentually fornicated with, nuns in the various convents, and then murdered the babies that were born them. They would then bury these babies in the basements of the rectories.

When hundreds, and eventually thousands, of infant skeletons buried in shallow graves were finally discovered the church was forced to admit what had transpired.

There is no way the priests committing these atrocities could ever have believed they were actually going to be held accountable for these despicable acts. Furthermore, there is overwhelming evidence that few of the leaders of religiosity truly believe what they preach, and as well rarely, if ever, abide by it.

But then most of the Catholic, Christian and Judaic doctrines were merely a plagiarization by those who pilfered much of the idealism and structure from Sun Worshippers, who they of course demonized and murdered in an attempt to discredit the astonishing resorvoir of knowledge and wisdom they had garnished from their indefatigable attention to the details of nature and the cosmos.

Certainly, most any monotheistic doctrine would have openly tortured and murdered a person such as this author. And would have done so for one specific reason...to instill the fear of -- fill in the blank -- into the people.

These types of actions which were routinely employed by the Catholic and Christian church are nothing but TERRORISM. And those who engaged in them were most certainly some of the planet's first TERRORISTS.

On some other issues:

The Supreme Court of the United States cannot claim that money is speech because it is not flexible like speech is, and furthermore, it is flexible in its value.

To understand fully the concept one would need to see somebody use money as speech. Let's say for instance that $1 equals the word "the", and $5 equals the word "ball", and $10 equals the word "red". This means that a person who possessed a lot of money could simply walk into a court room and say "the red ball, the red ball, the, the, the, red, red, red, ball, ball, ball..." and get their case dismissed without ever facing charges of bribery. This could then apply to just about everything, and one could actually be saying just about anything and those who were able to interpret it are the only ones who can understand it. Of course this would be mainly dirty politicians, bankers, financeers and various other criminal ilk who now operate outside of the law. However, with this new ruling by the Supreme Court the criminals will be acting with utter impunity.
