Remarkably, Vatican lawyers intend to claim that the Pope is a Head of State, and thus is somehow immune to prosecution. However, even if these liars…er, lawyers…are intending to exert such prerogatives as are afforded heads of state by the United States Constitution, they are not only misrepresenting such documents, they are misquoting them as well.

The US Constitution merely allows for elected officials to avoid the tyrannical motives which can be involved during the arrest and detention of an individual, and which could be used as a political tactic or seditious act if openly employed against them. Furthermore, fear of arrest could be a deterrent to legislators who are on the cutting edge of reform, as well as circumvent the process of impeachment against those politicians whom are deserving of it.

However, there is no actual provision in the constitution which grants any person the true right of immunity in any matter whatever. Moreover it makes clear that any impeached official is then subject to all applicable legal recourse once the official body or agency they were elected or appointed to has repudiated their behaviors.

For anyone in any authoritative capacity, sanctioned by the Catholic Church, to now be claiming they bear no responsibility for the proliferation of abuse in their ranks, after creating and distributing documents which discouraged the reporting of criminal acts of sexual deviance against minors, is a deplorable and blasphemous position by an organization claiming to be a beacon of truth, light and piety.

Does the Vatican actually believe that it is not exhibiting behaviors which it has openly repudiated for centuries? Does the Catholic Church truly expect to remain a legitimate force in the minds of the people of this planet, as they so blatantly hide behind the stained and rotting curtain of duplicitous legalese?

The Vatican, emboldened by United States political powers, actually has the gall to claim that it is a sovereign state, and that as such the Pope as head of that state then contends that he is immune to the accountability demanded of any other sovereign individual.

This is the reasoning which allows the Catholic clergy to proclaim it is above the law, and able to sexually abuse children and get away with it. Their's are the deluded sycophant minds manifest by a religion which intends to convince people that there is some logic in claiming that those in power are not accountable for their actions.

Truly, what reasonable human being could allow their self to trust in the ideology of a god who claims “thou shall not kill” and then kills? One who claims “vengeance is mine sayeth the lord.”? When vengeance itself is the ultimate sin. One which expects to exist in a world where the solution created the equation? Where the ruler of the dichotomy is the most imperfect of all, and thus not held to the rigors of the subjects? This is utter insanity, and goes far in explaining the confusion and angst now beset upon this planet’s rancorous and balkanized societies by monotheistic madness.

The Vatican is now bombastically intending to use legal arm twisting and technicalities against its most trusting subjects -- babes -- to protect an organization that holds out to the people a moniker which claims they are of the utmost transparency. The Pope, who’s primary claim is that he stands naked before his god, and thus is some vessel of this god’s intent and will, is now employing the legal counsel of sophists for the express intent of circumventing this accountability.

An article on Yahoo News states that on Tuesday William McMurry -- attorney for a Kentucky trio who alleges they were abused by priests -- filed a memorandum in support for his demand to question Pope Benedict based on court documents unearthed last week detailing the role of the congregation in shutting down a canonical trial for a Wisconsin priest who allegedly molested up to 200 deaf boys.

McMurry wrote “these documents confirm that the CDF (Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith), under Pope Benedict the XVI’s lead, discouraged prosecution of accused clergy and encouraged secrecy to protect the reputation of the church.” McMurry also represented 243 sex abuse victims that settled with the Archdiocese of Kentucky in 2003 for $25.3 million.

Regardless of what claims are made by the church to avoid the divulgence of facts concerning this case, the clergy itself is not protected by confidentiality since there is no question, or concealment, of the facts, and the presentation of testimony is not the result of a confession to a priest.

The main investigation appears to be reserved to circulated memos and official statements or actions by persons in positions of authority within the church; to include the ramifications of those statements or actions which allowed criminal acts to continue.

Furthermore, any statement of any kind which would discourage the reporting of criminal acts against a minor in any capacity whatever, are a complicity to the acts themselves because a minor does not possess the ability, nor many times even the authority (especially in a Catholic setting), to report the abuse, and thus the acts of the individual “sovereigns” at fault fully implicate the church as a whole.

Unfortunately, this entire fiasco is proving beyond shadow of doubt that the many warnings against the advent of the Catholic Faith -- which were blatantly unheeded -- of possible abuses that could occur in a church with a doctrine which contends that a human being has the ability and authority to forgive another human being their transgressions -- a severely inept concept which is rife with recidivism -- because they allegedly speak to an extremely evasive spirit being that supposedly operates with absolute power and impunity, were not only entirely correct, they indict all other monotheistic belief structures in such a way that the light of logic may finally be creeping back into the long lost darkened, secluded and shackled minds of all humanity.

Be certain that the people on this planet have no choice but to eventually disabuse their minds of the delusion which intends to detach their consciousness from the reality that duality reigns supreme in this Universe, and that there is certainly a divinity, and it is supremely compliant. For the only truly mitigating force in all the Universe…is THE EXAMPLE!

Eschew the deference to your gods, and engage your fellow humans in compliant respect with the Universe which so harmoniously sustains you, for there is no free will, only a selection…logic (compliant) or illogic (non compliant), and all things, down to the nano-synaptic response and beyond, have consequences.
