In an Associated Press article found on Yahoo News, the Israeli army has been forced to withdraw from the Gaza area after intense fighting with what the articles calls “Palestinian militants in the Hamas-run territory.”

What is rather enigmatic is the reference to “terrorists” in the article. It claims that “Israeli troops used bulldozers to ‘remove infrastructure used by terrorists to attack soldiers’ before the early morning withdrawal.” Unfortunately the bulldozer is one of Israel's main weapon of choice in terrorizing innocent civilians, as they use them to destroy homes and trees of the Palstinians.

What reasonable human being could ever consider an attack on aggressive military personal to be a terrorist act? Do the people of Israel truly expect the international community to accept such sophistry and bombastic propaganda? And if so, who could ever take them seriously on any claim they make?

As well, the Israeli military is well known to have used civilians to root out military opponents in Gaza, and have routinely bombed hospitals and Red Cross facilities, and used children as human shields in battle.

This latest position by them is just one more example of the juvenile and illegitimate actions coming out of Israel. Unfortunately this nation is being allowed to play their rebellious and impetuously childish games with heavy artillery.

The article goes on to state that “The violence began Friday when soldiers patrolling the border crossed into Gaza after spotting Palestinians planting explosive near the fence with Israel.”

However, Israel’s military is said to hold Gaza’s Islamic militant Hamas rulers responsible for the violence.

But who could possibly expect any other response from a nation who has proved time and again that they will employ any and all means necessary to avoid accountability for their actions and that of their military?

Israel, who has built the only ethnic barrier in history, and has for over 7 decades terrorized the people in close proximity to them, now claims “we will not tolerate any attempt to harm the citizens of the state of Israel, and we will continue to operate against anyone who uses terror against it.” As per official statements of the Israeli military.

Furthermore, Israel has been flouting the wishes of most of the world as it intemperately denies the rights of the Palestinians and does every thing possible to further cause them consternation. Even going so far as to buck the will of its United States allies and continue building in East Jerusalem, a highly contested area that historical documents prove belongs to the Palestinians.

What is also astonishing is that Israel contends that there is some perfidy on the part of Hamas for smuggling supplies and money in from Egypt. But what else would one expect from a territory which is constantly oppressed and attacked by the Israeli military, and now being aggravated by Egyptian police forces?

The only reason this preposterous position is being allowed by Israel is because the war that is being engaged is not a declaration against an enemy, but rather a form of preemptive military aggression that Israel claims is either a necessary mechanism employed to protect their interests and people, or in retaliation for attacks they have sustained from the many enemies they have created.

Regardless of the claims by either side, these are illegal actions according the policies of the United Nations Security Council, and are doing nothing to engage the realms of diplomacy and cooperation between nations.

These are only acts of moral turpitude perpetrated by Israel, which is a nation that claims to be worthy of inclusion in the international community which demands that they respect the rights of their neighbors and refrain from exacerbation of civil unrest. The nation of Israel has for many decades been one which expects to act with impunity and circumvent the peace process with predatory mandates and illegitimate demands that they themselves do not even comply with.

What is most indicative of the criminality of the insurgency of the Israeli military is the fact that they are taking full advantage of the blurry lines of terrorism they have created and engaged in for over a century -- to admonish others for fighting back -- and using it to, once again, mendaciously present themselves as the victims.

What is most significant to the plight of the Palestinians, however, is the fact that righteous indignation is one of the most powerful human factors on the planet, and Israel appears intent on incessantly aggravating this raging beast.

At least in this day and age, Israel cannot claim they have never been entirely forewarned of the possible ramifications of their inhumane actions.
