The American Politician: Lesser Men Of A More Powerful Veil

With a nation in economic peril, assailed by incongruous foreign relations, besieged by toxic corporate consumables, and beset with an administration hell bent on rewarding the masterminds of the current collapse with socialist authoritarian reform, Barack Obama intends to capitalize on a nation in crisis and shift the wealth and power even further from those who deserve it.

Regardless of the fact that many claim Obama is attempting to make good on his disreputable campaign promise -- albeit to misguided and delusional voters -- of “redistributing the wealth” in this nation, his actions prove that this was just one more deceptively sensational “dangling carrot” on a long winding trail of pied piper’s tunes.

Actually, Obama -- like so many other derelict leaders -- is attempting to use military structuring, foreign occupation, international mandates, and endless wars as a means for curbing unemployment. And in so doing is guaranteeing conformity to the current status quo which lauds organized criminal enterprising as the legitimate wave of the future, which further widens the gap between rich and poor. Or in more plain Obamaesque language, fortunate and unfortunate.

Remember Obama said to college students “study hard so you don’t have to go to Iraq.” Just how fortunate might someone be if they were put in the position where they could not afford to pay for high marks like others who may be deceptively competing against them to avoid military murder? Obama is a monster to have even let those words formulate in his mind, let alone leave his lips. He intends to claim that the bottom is not worthy of the same form of respect as the top. However, there is no top without a bottom, and the bottom, or foundation, is the intrinsically more functional and necessary structure of the two.

Unfortunately, merely electing a new president will not solve the problem, because Obama and his administration are not the only ones responsible for the extenuating and pragmatically untenable despotism now inhabiting the increasingly precarious realms of United Sates politics.

What is most disheartening about the government in today’s America is the fact that nearly every person in its employ appears to have no actual compunction with regards to the integral purpose of their position. The majority of politicians generally exhibit a complete lack of respect for their country and the constituents they represent, while generally seeking to say and do whatever they feel will get them elected or re-elected.

With the exception of legislators such as, Texas Congressman, Dr. Ron Paul there appears to be no real courage or honor among the lot of them. The flailing behavior and childlike bickering that both Republicans and Democrats are currently exhibiting -- albeit more from Democrats these days -- basically proves them to be disingenuous and lethargic. They would rather save face than actually address the concerns of the nation, regardless of who is at fault.

There appears to be none of them -- again other than Dr. Paul -- who will stand by the country and defend its constitution with staunch adherence to the principles which built this great nation, and instead are typically seeking to exploit nearly every facet of its auspicious heritage.

The levels of dishonesty and crime in the government are staggering, and the rate at which politicians can be manipulated by just about any corporate interest on the planet seems to accelerate by the day. Nearly anything that exposes a gaffe or abuse by corporations can be quickly hushed up or mitigated with a fat wad of greasy cash.

Teleprompters and speech writers are the norm for an executive mouthpiece that must be prevented from exposing his lack of inspiration or indiscernible character. These mechanized tools of displacement are merely for facilitating the presentation of authenticity through a trained puppet who is conscripted to convince the public that pragmatism is a legitimate substitute for intuition.

If a presidential candidate, and presumably the best decision maker in the nation, cannot stand in front of a crowd and speak for hours without looking stupid or exposing some wrongheaded mindset, then he should not be considered capable of leading the nation. I wager that Ron Paul could accomplish this feat from sea to shining sea.

In a popular video on Youtube, Obama stammered for nearly 5 minutes in a town-hall setting where he was asked by a seven year old girl, the simplest of questions; “why do you want to be the president?” He spent most of his reply attempting to counter-interrogate the young girl with questions about her personal life as he searched for a reasonable answer to her query. His embarrassing display of “game” proved him to be both disingenuous and disreputable, and causes anyone with an ounce of common sense to suspect that the man has motives he is certain are not popular, and thus must remain hidden.

But this behavior -- and worse -- is common on much of the campaign trail, and in many town-hall settings, mainly due to the fact that most of the politicians currently entering the debate these day’s are typically crooks or corporate shills to begin with, and rarely, if ever, seek election on the basis of truth, or a genuine desire to assist their nation in some role as a true public servant.

While the country is generally convinced that politicians simply succumb to the beguiling demon of absolute power, or temptation of personal gains, once they are elected, the truth is that the majority of these sophists are merely “straw men” with ulterior motives who are merely pretending they are not everyday people with everyday faults and simply seek as their goal a position which will allow them to reap benefits typically reserved to only those who actually exude fortuitous inspiration and intuition.

Most of today’s politicians do not possess the necessary hero’s identity -- which results from an indefatigable strength of character one just cannot seem to shake -- that is so critical to proper navigation in the creative theatre of public service.

The act most bureaucrats put-on is merely that, an act, and exposes no true edifice of their actual personality, and instead they portend a host of allegedly benevolent desires which are actually little more than pretentious displays of piousness.

It must be understood that the government is becoming overburdened with mere “employees” rather than true champions of the people. This is why it has grown so large. It has actually become the go-to-choice for persuasive, lawyerly lackey’s, spotlight-hungry sociopaths and lethargic masterminds which realize they have little chance of gaining respect in the arduous social complexity of today’s society without becoming a politician who can use authority as a personal shield or weapon. Furthermore, this practice is becoming increasingly prevalent throughout the business world.

With amazing precocity the political speak of the majority of politicians has become more and more banal in its disingenuously strategic focus, as they regularly tout the manipulation of the voting public in an effort to legitimize exploiting whatever they believe to be a majority mindset. They even go so far as to openly opine about their ability to appeal to various racial groups or social classes, and show almost no regard whatsoever for the individual, autonomy, the rule of law, or the constitution. They typically intend to appeal to whatever trend is taking center stage at the time, and will rarely, if ever, make the choice (once again, other than Dr. Paul) to tell the truth when they realize, or suspect, it is not popular.

This is why it now takes such a long time for legislators like Ron Paul to have their message heard clearly by a significant portion of the voting public. The misguided pragmatists, with their deceptive memes, are a huge majority, and the many destructive consequences of their defunct ideas are swept under the rug by the burgeoning atmosphere of back-scratching and criminal camaraderie now infecting the government.

Furthermore, there are far too many politicians these days -- currently populating the executive branch -- who intend to use an authoritarian “this is for your own good” mindset as some show of leadership, even going so far as to ignore the will of the people.

Barack Obama consistently takes the position that he knows better than the people of this nation and can act outside, and in flagrant violation of, the United States Constitution. His stubborn behavior is merely a grasp at power in an attempt to paint himself as “decisive” or “of strong conviction.” However, all one needs to do is look at his track record to realize that it is all an act. He has flip-flopped as much as any other overtly fallacious politician. Just because he is ardently fighting for his version of Health Care Reform does not mean he is honorable or intuitive, it merely illuminates his blatant disregard for the citizens of this nation, and its defining documents.

How often does anyone see an elected official fighting tooth and nail for Constitutional values? How often does anyone see elected officials admit they are not the one’s in control, and that the Bill of Rights is the guidepost of the nation? Where are all of the Ron Paul’s and Dennis Kucinich’s of the nation who must be logically inhabiting its government? Unfortunately they are having to maintain entry level positions in this nation because the world of politics has been so tainted that they are rarely allowed a voice in the proceedings and thus, out of dedication to their fellow citizens, take on the burden of social stimulus and progressive portent at a much more personal level.

Most politicians these day’s only care about their image. They care not about the truth or the possibility that they are not fit for the positions they hold. They routinely, and without compunction, lie to the American public, and then are given some free pass by media personalities who claim “they are only human after all,” as if this is some kind of excuse for being a degenerate.

The painted faces and cardboard-cutout smiles they proffer on camera do not hide the sweaty filth and snarling fangs of their surreptitious minds when one is adept at seeing through their eyes. Even the reputations of some people do not expose them for who they truly are. It has been the most talented of liars, and benefactors of wealthy families, who have been able to hide predacious propensities and miscreant behaviors from the eyes of justice and the general public.

Unfortunately, it is those honorable and courageous souls who are routinely denigrated by the gaggle of windbags now inhabiting the offices of public service. It is those who have been forced to ride the edge of insanity in a bid for knowledge and wisdom who garner the least support in the mechanisms of the political machine. Simply because they are not a sure bet in the dysfunctional and deceptive, mudslinging world of election campaigns since they have likely had brushes with law enforcement in their distant past, or come from less than auspicious backgrounds where they were not given the opportunity to make influential friends.

The counterproductive realm of current politics rarely suffers the “dark horse” or “long shot” because those in power are not truly concerned with the proper governance of the nation, they are only interested in portraying an image of superiority and authority, regardless of how many millions of victims they leave laying beside the path on their journey to self aggrandizing personal gain.

And of course, as happens far too often, the nation is forced to tolerate the less than genuine disclosure of a few of the government’s many indiscretions in the course of service, when repentant politicians expose themselves as deplorable fakes during nationally televised press conferences. Which only proves one thing in the minds of the truly informed American…that the rest of the seditious horde, in deliberate contempt for the authority of the people, are merely hiding their transgressions behind a more powerful veil.
