Compassionate Advice To Israel: Heed Pieronek, Stop Hating Yourselves
The statements of bishop Tadeusz Pieronek -- a former head of the Polish bishops’ conference -- which were published, without his consent, on a conservative Italian Catholic website yesterday were not without warrant. He merely voiced his concern for what appears to be a growing sentiment. He obviously hopes that people can somehow admit the fact that there is currently a severely dislocated, and disenchanted growing populous of soon-to-be ex-supporters of Jews and their plight, in light of the fact that many Jewish leaders intend to employ the memory of Hitler’s atrocities as a weapon to bludgeon anyone who questions their motives or actions. While at the same time displaying almost no compassion for the plights of others who have been oppressed far more than the Jews. The ability of the Jewish state, in contemporary society, to overstep all boundaries in efforts to further the personal aims of those who follow their doctrine, is truly remarkable. There exists - certainly since WWII - a form of reprisal mentality among both Judaic sympathizers and victims of the holocaust, which appears to demand that people consign themselves to an insensible notion that the passage of time has no effect on the progression of events; whether past, present or future. However, creating an atmosphere hospitable to any peoples’ insistence that others of this planet compensate for, or contribute to, a stagnating, feral vengeance or claims of insurmountable fears, is only done so in defiance of all that humans are capable of. Furthermore, insisting that those who disagree with the behaviors of the Jewish people, are anti-Semitic, denies all such people their freedom of speech, and right to autonomy. Who can truly find legitimacy in a doctrine which expects to enforce a notion that Jews are the chosen people of the supreme being of this world, and are not to be questioned? Such philosophy, as most any respectable person can deduce, is an utterly ridiculous improvisational prerogative. What is remarkable is the fact that the Jewish religion truly expects to have it both ways. It demands to be involved yet disallows involvement. It expects others to tolerate its intolerance. It offers insults solicitous of respect. These illogical proclivities are certainly the actions of many an ailing and deeply wounded soul. While I recognize that Israel is being deformed by ferocious paranoia, I sympathize greatly with their plight, as I do with all the people’s of this beautiful planet. However, their behavior will necessarily require an eventual intervention of compassionate administration by a populous resigned to the fact that abstention will only exacerbate Israel’s festering self-inflicted wounds. While it is true that the Jewish people were subjected to maniacally vicious edicts by the Hitler regime, culminating in a brutal genocidal strategy against them as a people. In sympathy for all who have suffered at the hands of tyrants over the eons, many others have suffered as well -- Stalin murdered over 25 million Kulaks in the 1930s, and Hitler also murdered Poles, Italians, Germans, Americans - and enjoyed a great deal of assistance from American corporations as well. But even in light of all this carnage and blame, one must always intend to take full responsibility for any and all activities in which they are engaged as mindful adults, for this ownership of the situation brings with it an accountability to one’s self, and thus an indefatigable power to effect true change. One of the saddest facets of long term abuse is that once the perpetrator is gone, the abused often takes on, in nearly an identical capacity, the role which has been vacated by the abuser. It is high time to show Israel the ultimate form of respect by refusing to patronize them. It is time to denounce their excessive protectionism and violence. It is time to prohibit exploitation of their fears and angst at the hands of their enemy’s enemies who do so for their own gains. It is time to let them heal. It is time to truly minister to their long neglected and festering wounds. Yes, Israel may appear sinister and remorseless to a great many people, but then so does a tiger. This analogy is both in defense and indictment of Israel, for while humans are victims of ignorance, they are not bound to it by instinct. In analyzing the current diametric crisis of the Jewish people one must first understand the critical elements of anti-Semitism. First of all, the word “Jew” is defined as (a) believer in Judaism: somebody whose religion is Judaism. member of Semitic people: a member of a Semitic people descended from the ancient Hebrews, sharing cultural and religious ties based on Judaism. somebody from ancient Judea: somebody who lived or was born in ancient Judea. The word “Jew” originates prior to the 12th century, via Old French giu, derived from the Latin Judeaus, and the Greek Ioudaios. It is also a derivative of the Hebrew word yehudi or yehudah - “Judah” the son of Jacob, and the tribe descended from him. The word “Semite” is defined as (a) member of Semitic-speaking people: a member of a Semitic-speaking people of southwest Asia, including the Arab and Jewish peoples, and the ancient Assyrians, Babylonians, Carthaginians, Ethiopians, and Phoenicians. Remarkably the definition of the word “Semite” goes on to express it as (an) offensive term: an offensive term for a Jew (slang). This appears to suggest a level of Jewish anti-Semitism, which explains a lot, considering the word Goy, or Goyim, which is the derogatory term used by all Jews, and is defined as, goy: an offensive term for somebody who is not Jewish. Well, I for one am certainly offended in light of the fact that there are plenty of Jews who, in movies, broadcasts and print use this term quite prevalently, and without any obvious compunction, but I digress. The word Semitic originates from the Mid-19th century via the modern Latin word Semita, and the Greek/Hebrew word Sem or “Shem”, who was allegedly the son of Noah. So in essence, the Jewish doctrine now appears to claim they are the only descendents of the man who many believe was one of the only survivors of the Great Flood, which religiosity proposes was a catastrophic global event perpetrated by what they claim is a compassionate, caring, creative supreme being. It appears that the Jewish doctrine proposes to be offended by inclusion in the evidently tremendously diverse Semitic populous, which by accounts outlined in what many believe to be the holy scriptures…is everyone. Is anyone seeing a pattern here? Nihilism is certainly a precursor to many a religious doctrine. Further research of the term “anti-Semitism” exposes the ubiquitous nature of this accusation since the word “Semitism” is defined as, Semitic culture: the customs, traditions, and characteristics of Semitic people. language feature of Semitic origin: a word or other language feature of Semitic origin, especially one occurring in a non-Semitic language. The word “Semitic” is defined as, languages spoken by Semites: a group of languages belonging to the Afro-Asiatic family and spoken in North Africa and Southwest Asia, including Hebrew, Arabic, Aramaic, Maltese, and Amharic. When considering all of the preceding facts which reveal Semitism to mainly be the belief structure of an astounding diversity of people, and taking into account that much of religion appears to be a less than an infallible work in progress, one must deduce that to avoid engaging in anti-Semitism is nearly impossible, for it would insist that one essentially resist questioning just about anything around them, or even inside of them. Furthermore, the nature of marketing, media spin, political correctness and pervasive agendas of the “group mentality” assimilation within this nation exposes a very real possibility that what is transpiring in this society is a manipulation of its citizens into an acceptance of Judaism. Moreover, whatever peaceable resistance this may elicit from the populous is without a doubt a behavior well within the rights and responsibilities of any and all citizens in this nation. It appears that anti-Semitism may merely be nothing more than one’s demand for respect of their rights to autonomy; yea, to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, in light of the incessant proposal that Israel’s many brutalities, bigotries, malignancies and audacities exist within inordinate levels of impunity. This nation, with its tremendously respectable constitutional ideals, was founded by those wise and courageous persons who understood that abrogation of the corrosive ideologies which are manifest through unquestioning loyalty, is paramount to survival. Time is merely degrees of distance and thus all things must change. To insist that the past be constantly transposed onto the present while attempt to use this transposition for creating delineations of the future will only further propagate ignorance and recidivism. The abuses perpetrated by the Hitler regime were illogical acts which appeared plausible within an atmosphere of terror enabled by aberrant monotheistic beliefs which posit one is superior to another merely because of one’s belief in a supreme being. Hitler then ignorantly incorporated this delusional supremacy into a pseudo-science which claimed that genocide was an acceptable mechanism of progress. Regardless of who instigates, at whatever level, the delusional prerogative of genocidal intent, it will always be a necrotic dichotomy of self denial, because the destruction of one is the destruction of all. Hate is nothing more than the misinterpretation of fear, and to truly hate another one must first hate the self. My advice to the Jewish state of Israel, and all others who consign to such nepotism; Stop hating yourselves.
