DEMS PLAY THEIR R"ACE" IN THE HOLE, CITE A NATION OF BIGOTS

Senator Whitehouse plays the race card.

If the economic meltdown, Climategate, terror memos, extraordinary rendition, wall street bailouts, the Federal Reserve, UFOs and the Loch Ness monster were not enough to baffle the mind, Democratic Senator Sheldon Whitehouse tips the scale today as the most delusional and ham-fisted necromancy of them all. He actually had the “audacity” (a parallel codifying the party) to claim that the only opposition to the Health Care bill now logically languishing in the Senate, is “the birthers, the fanatics, the people running around in right-wing militias and Aryan support groups, it is unbearable to them that President Barack Obama should exist. That is one powerful reason. It is not the only one.”

If this were not enough to expose the man as a disingenuous sensationalist and bigot (albeit only against anyone with an ounce of common sense), he also rants in a video “they are desperate to break this president. They have ardent supporters who are nearly hysterical at the very election of President Barack Obama.”

First of all, this author warned over a year and a half ago, that Obama should be very careful what he wished for. He literally begged for this position and is now crying wolf ad nauseam like his hair were on fire.

The statements of Senator Whitehouse are obviously the ravings of desperation, and are the styling’s of most any person who has neither the compunction nor the tenacity to wage debate based on the facts. Personal attacks are the moniker of those who rely solely on precociousness and mendacity, rather than logic and honor.

Fortunately Whitehouse has exposed his turpitude to the entire world, and may find little more than token offerings of sympathy and kid-glove-tolerance after such a bombastic rant.

The fact is that over 2 thirds of this nation’s citizens, in a poll from CNN, are in opposition to the health care overhaul, and for a myriad of extremely justifiable reasons. One of the most important concerns being that it sets up the framework for government to invade the private lives of ever person living in this nation, and in the most critical area of personal dignity, national heritage and health.

What is significant to this argument is the fact that the model of health care reform most demonstrably codifying the bill is the agency which now handles health care for all federal employees. Unfortunately, all of the people now being proposed to be included in the program are not federal employees and a majority of them are patently opposed to much of the actions of those “Federalists” and career politicians.

It must be understood that this assimilation of the entire populous into the burgeoning monstrosity now known as the Federal Government, is tantamount to absorbing the last of your fresh water into a gasoline soaked sponge and letting your child suck on it.

Senator Whitehouse also mentioned an editorial by The Manchester Journal Inquirer in which its editor rails that the Republican party is being “dominated by the lunatic fringe…and has poisoned itself with hate”.

However, the latest Rasmussen Reports weekly tracking update shows that 41% of voters nationwide favor the bill and 55% are opposed. Those figures are nearly unchanged from a week ago. This is the fifth straight week with support for the legislation between 38% and 41%.

A poll taken by NBC/Wall Street Journal found that only 32% of American’s feel that the health care overhaul is a good idea, with a mere 36% in favor in an AP-GFK poll.

Senator Whitehouse, to a Washington Times journalist, claimed he did not intimate that opponents for the bill were racists, even denying that he used the term “Aryan”. Attention Senator Whitehouse, it is on video. The nice men in white will be coming to help you to your room now.

Personally, this author takes a rather offensive tone to Senator Whitehouse’s reference that the lunatic fringe is in any way associated with such bigotry, and all of the extra-terrestrials within broadcast range are likely bouncing off of the walls of their space laboratories in ridicule as we speak.

It appears the unemployment line needs just one more frustrated member. That is, if they will have him.
