The Future of Passed Success
The most functional information gained from the collection of fine art and antiques is in the many opportunities one finds to get a look inside the mind of the people creating them. The sad fact crying out from many of the pieces in the not too distant past is…American society was thinking much more intelligently 200 years ago, than they are thinking today.
What is most perplexing about the American society of today is its disposability. This throw away world of disposable products and non serviceable "pluck and chuck" appliances is severely unsustainable. It is rather obvious that many of the products that have left the market were forced out because they lasted too long. There is no reason to be discarding most anything, especially when one considers that the population is growing disproportionately, regardless of the fact that some people (ahem!) know precisely why, and precisely how to mitigate the matter in a cohesive and complimentary fashion...but I digress.
The past is the example and much of the ignorance being revered and clung to for its perverse placation of humanity's current misinterpretation of their simple design function parameters, is allowing a "profit" based society (which is anything but) to ignore all intrinsic core humanities necessary for proper and unadulterated growth within the designed sociabilities of the, largely solitary, human species.
What is paramount in the theatre of Universal compliance is the human species' ability to learn from their past mistakes. However, even more important is the ability to learn from their passed successes.
To be perfectly clear: It is imperative that Humanity learns from what we have done wrong. What is most critical to our ultimate evolutionary fate, is recognition of the core parameters of our species place in this Universe, and it is only enabled by the cognizance of what we have not done right.
