Poiticians choose to fight over issues such as the legitimacy of abortion, predominantly because they refuse to address, or many times even mention, the activities that most certainly contribute to, or even out-right cause, this vehement behavior; such as child abuse, exploitative laws, alienating and degrading punishments, imperialistic and divisive social structuring, prostitution, drug abuse, manipulative and extremely suggestive media, apathy and a corrosive fear based society. No, this very sad America appears much more content to destroy people, mainly for kicks and profit, and then fight over their rotting carcasses.
