Why do we cry?
From time immemorial mankind has wondered why humans laugh. Even a small giggle from a child is more amazing and complex than the most powerful computers on Earth. But in asking why we laugh, one cannot help but then wonder…why do we cry? While most people would say the answer is obvious, it can certainly be argued that crying is just as peculiar a behavior as laughter.
It is essentially proven that one cries because they choose to cry, in so much as one can choose not to cry. In comparison, however, it is incredibly difficult to stifle laughter, especially after observing someone do something extremely clumsy in a crowded and otherwise quiet setting. In making this point, one realizes that to truly lift the veil, requires an understanding of the pathology, and nature, of both behaviors.
Crying begins with tears, while laughter typically ends with them. Crying is like a dampening and leaves the person drained, while laughter is like a spark and gives a person strength. Crying releases, laughter receives.
Therefore, laughter is a selfish act and is necessary for survival. Crying is a selfless act and yearns for the survival of what is necessary.
Humanity will never forget, as the cycles of this cosmos will continue to call throughout eternity, and beyond. Mankind has a specific place in the order of the universe, and regardless of how badly people have lost their way, it is merely a resistance, and must eventually be corrected. The activities of mankind, throughout this world’s history, are largely incongruent with reality, and increasingly ignorant to the balance of nature. Most humans still believe they have some type of free will, but this is merely a selection; easy way, or hard way.
Why do we cry? Because that is what we choose; incessant of a sad and imperialistic world, opposed to all that humanity is destined to accomplish.
