The Island of Obama...still detached
In a recent speech defending his hotly criticized statements about “bitter” voters, Senator Obama appears increasinglyl intoxicated by his own presence and perceived influence, exclaiming “…I said something everyone knows is true”. Why is it so true? Apparently, because Barack Obama say’s so. Rather than take American’s at their word, the Senator attempts to convince voters that they just don't know how they truly feel.
This is a worrisome posture for the young candidate, as he is largely unproven in high profile position's requiring a firm grasp on the human element of this nation. There is no skill more fundamentally vital to the office of Commander in Chief than the ability to connect with the common people. Senator Obama appears to be rather lacking in the necessary qualifications of leadership, unless of course, he has no genuine intention of representing the voters, and is merely looking to expound upon the lies and criminality of the current administration.
Senator Obama offers many sensational statement's painting himself as a maverick for change, however, his contention that the problems in America arise primarily from economic inequity fueled by lobbyist agenda's, is extremely narrow minded, and is nothing more than an ignorant postition intended to garner votes from the "bitter" public. His proposal's tend to offer nothing more than expanded largesse and manipulative regulation's by an already bloated government, rather than solution's intended to rightfully return the majority of power and influence to the hands of the people.
The Senator should note that, absent the corruption, there are many lobbyist's who perform a vital function for the people and those companies that service them. The critical issue is the lack of adherence to the United States Constitution, and the constant, mindlessly pedantic rhetoric of politicians who claim that their vision for America is superior. The law's and instruction's of the Constitution, penned by the founding father's and ratified by an entire nation, protect the principles and human rights which enable this country's strength and prosperity, and adherence to those principles is the only choice afforded those who seek to shoulder the responsibility of Commander in Cheif.
These are tumultuous times brought about by the incessant denial and manipulation of public opinion. With this nation fighting for it’s life and, possibly, gasping it’s last sovereign breath, there is no room for a leader who is out of touch with the freedoms, liberties and powers rightfully afforded it's peoples. When considering the thousands of lies, over many decade's, directed like mortar fire on the public, and the destruction this nation's citizen's are courageously working to overcome, our founding democracy cannot survive even one more detached, self absorbed, veracity bending politician who seeks only the power of this position which billions of people rely upon to be a nationally reflective beacon of peace and prosperity in the world.
Obama is, once again, off course as he criticizes Hillary Clinton for connecting with the people (he calls it "pandering to the working class"). Can he get any more elitist with his statements? Is he purposely attempting to throw the election? His remarks appear to be accelerating to top condescending speed as he slam's Clinton for knocking back a shot and a beer, what's next...bashing McCain for kissing babies? Obama is failing the objectivity test at nearly every turn, and these scores are paramount to his overall political GPA. Baseless personal attacks are becoming Obama's political moniker as he foolishly endeavors to defend the rash statements he made in San Francisco.
This exhalted postion that Obama is literally begging for can only be properly filled by unwavering convictions, humble wisdom and benevolent leadership; all of which he is severely lacking. The Senator should heed the many stellar examples of gracious and principled leadership shown by the eleven term Congressman from Texas, Ron Paul. Unfortunately, all of the current candidates vying for the position of president pale in comparison to this staunch Constitutionalist.
